Juliettt's General Stories

Unless otherwise noted, these stories, although they do not belong to any one series, all occur within my "universe," which culminates in the Marriage Series.

Most of my stories are PG/PG-13; any story receiving a stronger rating is so labeled. Newer stories are labeled NEW! to make them easier to find.

Although most of my romances appear within the Marriage Series, many (though not all) of these stories have high UST content.

"The Broken Heart"

A very young Scully deals with disappointment in her own characteristic way.

"Academy Life One: Scully"

Cadet Scully faces more hurdles in her professional quest.

"All I Want for Christmas"

Mulder attempts to deal with his partner's absence.

"In the Length of One Breath"

Mulder must make a difficult decision as Scully lies near death in a coma. This story takes place during the episode "One Breath" beginning right after Melissa Scully's visit to Mulder's apartment.

"'One Breath,' Part Two"

Scully ponders her near-death (Winner, 1995 Best Short Story EMXC Award; Second Place, 1995 Spooky Awards).

"Lullaby"

Scully has an unexpected visitor Thanksgiving night (thematic sequel: "Lullaby For a New Generation")

"A Conversation in the Hallway"

Mulder and Scully go together like chocolate and peanut butter . . . peas and carrots . . . Sonny and Cher???

"Stakeout Two: Getting Even"

In this first sequel to Sheryl Martin's "Stakeout," Jackie St. George wreaks her own brand of revenge on Mulder and Scully while they are on stakeout.

"Stakeout Three: Seduction By the Book"

The series continues--this time Mulder and Scully must get through a night stakeout sans radio. . . .

"Loneliness"

Just another lonely Thursday night. . . .

"Silent Communion"

Mulder and Scully make their report to Skinner after the Donnie Pfaster case.

"Stakeout Four: False Alarm"

Mulder arrives at Scully's apartment to pick her up for a stakeout assignment and discovers all is not as it appears. . . .

"Confusion"

Something incredibly strange happens during a case that leaves Mulder and Scully confused as to who they really are.

"Have You Ever Had 'One of Those Days'?"

Everything is going wrong for Scully. . . .

"Another 'One of Those Days'"

And I do mean everything. . . .

"Mulder's Birthday 1995"

Mulder celebrates his 34th with the Scullys and learns a little bit more about how his partner views him, their relationship, and their quest (this story is sans Melissa, which takes it slightly out of the realm of my "universe").

"Verdict"

Mulder and Scully watch along with everyone else as "The Trial of the Century" finally comes to a close.

"Stakeout Five: The Burning Question"

It's another stakeout--and Mulder and Scully take the opportunity to solve an age-old question. . . .

"Once in a Blue Moon"

Mulder and Scully ponder life, family, and friendship (thematic sequel: Marriage: "The Last of the Chambord")

"Temptation"

An attempted seduction--but who is really in control? (Winner, 1996 Best Angst Starbuck Award)

"Doorways"

Mulder finally finds a solution to something that has been troubling him.

The following stories are single-shot efforts; that is, they don't fit in with the rest of my "universe," for reasons which will become apparent.

"Busy Signals"

An old friend from university visits Mulder but begins paying much more attention to Scully--and Mulder doesn't much like it. . . .

"Fish Nite" (story missing)

Mulder's neighbor treats our two favorite agents to a brief bagpipe concert every Friday night in this silly send-up of Friday Night Viewing, the third season "Rift That Wasn't," fanfic, and, well, what have you. . . .

"Romance in the Ether"

My response to a certain fanfic trend. . . .
